Guidelines

Dear Third Grade Families,

My name is Cheryl Finn and I am very excited that I will be your child's teacher this year!
Please read this letter with your child so you can discuss the expectations together. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns. I truly believe a child’s success starts with open communication between parents and teachers.

Homework:
The plastic home folder should be brought back and forth from school to home.
Math home links will go home, but not daily
Reading logs will go home on Monday and should be handed in the following Monday.
Study spelling words that go home on Monday. Tests are on Friday.
Practice math skills on ixl
Practice language arts skills on ixl

Snack: Please pack a healthy, nutritional snack for our learner.
Labeling: Please label everything- especially hats, coats, and mittens and ski pants.
Donations: We can always use extra pencils, markers, glue sticks and soft tissues throughout the year!

Communication:
I will write a newsletter every week or two depending on how busy our week was. You will receive an email from Feedburner soon. Please open this and follow the directions. This way you will receive our class newsletters electronically. You may need to check your spam folder if you don't see the e-mail from Feedburner.

Let’s get ready for a wonderful year. I am confident that by working together as a team we can help insure that your child will have both a successful and memorable 3rd grade year!

Fondly,

Mrs. Finn
